WE ARE LOCATED IN LAKE COWICHAN, ON BEAUTIFUL VANCOUVER ISLAND.

Getting here is easy!   Travelling to Vancouver Island from any of the Vancouver ports via BC Ferries, takes 1 1/2, to 2 hours depending on which port you depart from.  Once you dock on Vancouver Island, Lake Cowichan is a 60-85 minute drive from Nanaimo and Victoria respectively.

There are also a ferry services from the USA to BC Canada. The Coho Ferry has service from Port Angeles, WA to Victoria. The Sidney-Anacortes Ferry  has service from  Seattle, WA to Sidney, BC.

Air service includes scheduled flights by most major airlines to the Victoria International Airport (YYJ) and Nanaimo Airport (YCD).  Check out Kenmore Air for service from Seattle to Victoria’s inner harbour, or charter a flight right to Lake Cowichan and we can pick you up.  Harbour Air Seaplanes for service from Vancouver to Victoria and Nanaimo harbours.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

FROM NORTH (NANAIMO AIRPORT OR FERRY TERMINALS)

Head south on Hwy. #1. Drive for approx. 30 minutes or until Highway 18

turn off just north of Duncan . This will be at a set of traffic lights.

Turn right off Hwy #1 onto Hwy #18 heading west to Lake Cowichan.

Travel on this highway approx. 15-20 min. until you come to the Lake

Cowichan “Welcome” sign with two bears on top of it.

1. Keep left of the sign and drive into Lake Cowichan on main road, drive through the traffic circle and cross the bridge in front of the Riverside Inn hotel and restaurant.

2. Immediately after crossing this bridge, take the first left onto King George Rd.

3. Follow King George Rd straight up onto the “round-about”.

4. Enter the “round-about” and take your 3rd exit onto Sahtlam Rd.

5. Travel along this road as it changes names along the way to Grant’s Lake Rd.,

keep going until you come to Hudgrove Rd.

6. Follow Hudgrove Rd 3.5 km to the very end. We are on your left, the black

gates, house # 7469.  You will see Kenzie’s Fishing Adventures sign on the gates.

DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTH
(VICTORIA AIRPORT OR FERRY TERMINAL)

Head south on Highway #17 from the Airport and follow signs to NANAIMO

heading north via Highway #1

You will be actually coming to Duncan but the signage will direct you to the

bigger city of Nanaimo which is beyond Duncan. It will take you approx. 1

hour to reach Duncan.

Drive through the city of Duncan still on Highway #1, and watch for the left

turn off at a set of lights to get onto the Highway #18 heading west to Lake

Cowichan. This will be about 3 minutes north of Duncan.

Travel on Highway #18 approx. 20 min. until you come to the Lake Cowichan

“Welcome” sign with two bears on top of it.

Follow directions #1 through #6 above.

DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTH (VICTORIA INNER HARBOUR)

Get onto Douglas Street and head north out of the city. This street turns into Hwy #1. Follow signs to NANAIMO heading north via Highway #1

You will be actually coming to Duncan but the signage will direct you to the bigger city of Nanaimo which is beyond Duncan. It will take you approx. 1 hour to reach Duncan.

Drive through the city of Duncan still on Highway #1, and watch for the left turn off at a set of lights to get onto the Highway #18 heading west to Lake Cowichan. This will be about 3 minutes north of Duncan.

Travel on Highway #18 approx. 20 min. until you come to the Lake Cowichan “Welcome” sign with two bears on top of it.

Follow directions #1 through #6 above.
